Drink lots of Water!
Water is essential for all body functions. It is necessary for your body to digest and absorb vitamins and nutrients. It also detoxifies the liver and kidneys, carries away waste from the body and aids digestion. Fiber alone cannot aid proper digestive function by itself. Without water as its partner, good fiber can turn bad, causing constipation and discomfort. A lack of water causes dehydration. When dehydrated your blood becomes thicker and your body has to work much harder to cause it to circulate. This results in your brain becoming less active, it is harder to concentrate and your body feels tired and drained.

The overall health benefits of drinking water cannot be underestimated. Drinking water enhances fat loss; combat ailments; reduces hunger; hydrates your skin (keeping you looking younger longer) and helps with digestion.

Step 2
Eat Less!
Stop eating when you are full. If is bothers you to throw away food, then wrap it up and save for another meal, or only take small portions to begin with. When eating out, restaurant portions are huge and can be a factor in gaining weight. Another idea is to split restaurant entrees with your dining partner.

Step 3
Eat colourful foods!
Foods that are rich in color are also rich in nutrients. Healthy foods include red, yellow, and green peppers, blueberries, strawberries, apple, oranges, spinach, canteloupe. By putting a variety of colors into your daily diet, you are more likely to get the important recommended daily nutrients that your body needs.
